| Bio: | I'm Kim. I grew up in London-- Mother Tibb looked after me up until she dangled from the nubbing cheat. After that I worked the sharping lay.
Then a toff in a pub hired me to break into a street magician's wagon. He didn't warn me it was a real wizard-- an honest-to-god College-trained frogmaker, not just a puff-guts making sparkles for the culls. A toff, too. So that's how I ended up running with Mairelon the Magician (Richard Merrill to everybody else). Turned out I got a talent for wizardry myself, so he decided to try to turn me into a wizard and a young lady of Quality and to cut a long story short, we're engaged.
Mairelon is the most exasperating man I've ever met. Not that London Society exactly knows what to make of me, either.
I've been friending people who look intriguing to me. We'll see. As Lady Wendall says, "One cannot cut someone dead simply because they are dull, but one need not endure their conversation in order to maintain the social niceties."
That's probably one of the bits of advice I'm not meant to repeat in public.
